Eggs, milk, bread, hair colour NOOOO!!!
Hair colour is not something that should be purchased at the supermarket.
Leave behind the packet dye and invest in a different season trend; pass the kale anyone?
Humans have been colouring their hair since back in the stone ages, how else would Wilma Flinstone achieve such shiny locks? But have we been doing it right? Technically speaking there is no right way when it comes to hair colour, from accidental green to whoopsie toner purple, we all want to channel our inner hairstylist. But what many people don’t know is, that there is a difference between supermarket packet hair colour and in salon professional hair colour. Never fear “insert cool blogger name” is here. As a hair stylist, I personally know first hand the damage ‘do it yourself’ colour have on people’s lives. Time and time again, my friends and family would call me in a devastated panic from their bathrooms begging me to “please fix it”. My beloved’s then find themselves in my salon chair getting a costly colour correction service after already spending 20 bucks on a box promising shiny chocolate brown locks and not the slime green result they are left with. No Emoji sad face can justify this feeling!! So the moral to my story is simple and clear- save your bucks and your tears for the “Note Book” and go and visit your highly trained and creatively brilliant hair stylist instead!!
